Lockdown Plan January 2021

5th January 2021

Dear Parents,

Following the latest government announcement made at 8.00pm this evening enforcing school closures we will be returning to online teaching and learning for the majority of our pupils. This is not the direction which any of us would have chosen, however we can use the benefit of previous experience and planning to ensure the process is as smooth and positive as possible. The online learning and the provision available onsite for children of critical workers will begin on Tuesday 5 January. From Wednesday 6 January all classes will be able to access daily online lessons via Teams and daily face to face live lessons with their class teacher.

We do have an expectation that all our pupils engage in the suite of learning which is on offer. It was apparent following the initial lockdown how those pupils who engaged fully in the learning programmes really benefited academically. Please contact your class teacher if you need any assistance or experience any difficulty accessing the online provision.

The school will only remain open for key critical workers requiring their child/children to attend school. Please email me with the days and times that your child/children would need to be in school for on sarah.marshall@rauceby.lincs.sch.uk and please title the email Key worker.

Yours sincerely,

Sarah Marshall
