Pupil Premium
Pupil premium is funding to improve education outcomes for disadvantaged pupils in schools in England. Evidence shows that disadvantaged children generally face additional challenges in reaching their potential at school and often do not perform as well as other children. The school receives funding from the Government to support it in trying to overcome any barriers that disadvantaged children may face. We use this funding to ensure these children benefit from the same opportunities as all other children. There are a range of pupil premium grants. These include
- Children who are eligible for free school meals (FSM)
- Children who in the last six years were eligible for free school meals (Ever 6)
- Looked after children
- Post looked after children
- Armed forces children
- Early Years
