The children, Headteacher, staff and governors of Rauceby Church of England Primary Academy are seeking to appoint two inspiring, ambitious, and dynamic class teachers to join our experienced, skilled and committed staff team. This is a rare opportunity to join our teaching team and we are looking forward to hearing what you can offer our children here at Rauceby. There is one permanent position and one temporary post available – pending the needs of the school. Both posts could be in either KS1 or KS2 dependent on the strengths of the successful candidates.

Rauceby Primary School is a friendly, inclusive, one-form entry, Church of England stand-alone academy. In our most recent Ofsted inspection in June 2023, we were judged to be a good school, and we continue to strive towards our aspirational vision for our future school. Together with the children, parents and local community, we are very proud of our village school, our achievements, and the strong reputation we have. We work towards inspiring a passion for life-long learning and aim to embolden a community of active citizens who have high aspirations for themselves and others.
We aim to achieve this by providing a safe, caring and inspiring environment where all can reach their full potential, academically and personally.

We are seeking an outstanding teacher who:
• has high expectations of every child and values each child’s voice
• is ambitious for every child, for the school, and for themselves
• is well organised, dedicated, and enthusiastic
• is a thoughtful, intelligent, creative and reflective teacher
• enjoys working as part of a wider team of dedicated and skilled staff
• is able to form positive relationships with children and parents so all can thrive
• is solution focused when presented with challenges and barriers to progress
• shares our school values and demonstrates these in their interactions with others

We can offer you:
• a supportive, friendly school community
• a positive, caring, family ethos in a lovely village environment
• well behaved, enthusiastic and articulate children
• a commitment to your training and future development to enable you to be excellent in your role
• exciting opportunities for outdoor learning in our beautiful and extensive school grounds, including a thriving Forest School, and a redeveloped school garden and pond
• a staff team who are welcoming, collaborative, professionally challenging, and good fun!
• A high level of autonomy to do what we feel is right for our children as a stand alone academy, but with support from our local network and beyond
• a commitment to staff-well being and reduction in teacher workload
• opportunities for subject leader development

If you are interested in joining our team, please find an application form, job description, and job specification below

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expect all staff share this commitment. All posts will be subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, medical and reference checks. All Pre-employment checks are in line with "Keeping Children Safe in Education”.
