The children, Headteacher, staff and governors of Rauceby Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint an inspiring, dynamic and creative Assistant Headteacher who will lead on teaching, learning and assessment throughout the school.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our newly appointed Headteacher (September 2021) to form a new senior leadership team here at Rauceby. We are looking to appoint an outstanding teacher, who can motivate others and who will work closely with the Headteacher to lead the school forward on this next stage of our school journey. We are seeking somebody who has a strong understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, someone who shares our school vision of creating life-long learners and someone who can help foster a love of learning underpinned by our Christian values of Forgiveness, Kindness, Honesty, Aspiration and Equality.

You will need to:

• Be an outstanding classroom practitioner with a positive attitude and high expectations of pupils’ attainment and behaviour
• Be able to inspire and motivate children and staff
• Possess excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills to foster positive relationships with all stakeholders
• Have the ability to play a key role in pupil progress and improving standards across the whole school
• Have the ability to lead a core curriculum subject across the school
• Be knowledgeable of current research around teaching, learning and assessment
• Have experience of rigorous tracking and monitoring and have a pro-active approach to assessment
• Support and develop the Christian vision of the school
• Be ready to work with the whole school community to provide the best for our children

Fluency Duty

Lunchtime Assistant

£2,916 to £3,023 per annum

The children, head teacher, staff and governors of Rauceby Church of England Primary School are seeking to appoint a lunchtime assistant to join our lunchtime team. You will support the lunchtime food service and promote positive playtimes for all our children.

The working hours are 7.5 hours (Monday – Friday 11.45am – 1.15pm)

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is friendly, helpful and has a gentle manner with our children
  • Enjoys working as part of a team and is able to use their own initiative
  • Has a positive attitude
  • Is keen to help develop play – either through physical activity or by encouraging imaginative play
  • Has experience of working with and interacting with children.
  • Is committed to be involved in the wider life of our village school

Whilst holding a First Aid certificate would be advantageous, training will be given. Applicants should be willing to undergo first aid training and safeguarding training, alongside any other CPD relevant to the role.
